This is a dumb question is there are there any good algorithms or companies doing good work at removing fake news, text or reviews? and what are the kind of approaches they are using to do that?

Question: Where do you stand on the argument that social media companies are just neutral platforms and that problematic content is the entire responsibility of the users? The same way that phone companies aren’t held responsible when phones are used for scams or car companies held responsible when vehicles are used say for terrorist attacks.

It’s just my take from observation. I don’t know if there is or not a paper already showing these caveats.

Recaptcha is a good tool currently to help counteract the drowning out. At least until they are broken…
