Chit Chat Thread

Please excuse me if I’m sharing something you already know.

I just realised that a thesis is somewhat a book on a set of papers with the required background chapters!

So there is the Math background, the required NLP details and finally the main research (All in much more detail).

I’m a fan of Sebastian Ruder so I will read it slowly once I complete my homework/tasks from each week :slight_smile:

I’m LunchWithaLens on Twitter.

The live link should be posted in Part 2 right?

I’m probably overreacting just thought it would be up by now.

A bit of an echo in the mic right now. Just a note.

Hi everyone, looking forward!

Is there a schedule for Part2 which highlights all the topics covered in each class?

Check the first lecture (no 8).

Jeremy shared a course plan and went over some of what will be covered in the next few lessons.

What time is it?! It’s Fast.ai time!! Wohoo.

@alephthoughts here.

Happy to help (or at least try to :)) anyone using the Azure Linux Data Science VM with FastAI built in - or Windows - and having issues. Lesson 8 worked fine in either environment for me.

Anyone remember which lesson this conv-example.xlsx spreadsheet was originally talked about?

I know it was in the CNN lesson of the 2018 version of DL1. I am not sure which lesson for 2019 DL1.

Worked fine for me!

So how do I handle the error below? Do I copy the .py file to my drive? Or is there a way to clone the fastai_docs repo? I see how to open a notebook, but not a repo.
