University Student 150$ free AWS

Just wanted to let you know that, in case you are a student in a public university all around the world, you can also apply for the github education program ( https://education.github.com/ ). With this, together with the 500$ AWS credit that Jeremy could get us, you get a total of 650$ credits.

I just did it and they are cumulative (one doesn’t interfere with the other one).

Have fun!

Hey guys, as far as I know neither 150$ student pack credits nor 500$ credits from Jeremy are eligible for using on EC2 instances, is that right ?

The main purpose is to use them on EC2 instances!

I didn’t find EC2 in the list of available services, so I assumed we couldn’t do it.

Amazon Elastic Cloud Compute (EC2)

Hi, should we choose Deep Learning AMI Ubuntu as the AMI to setup instead of creating a new e2c? I am using the aws educate starter account.

Hey, I got the github education but I am having trouble finding a link for AWS credits. I see in the comments that Jeremy provided it. Could anyone help me out with this. Thanks!
