I am starting with the readings in lesson 2 (http://cs231n.github.io/optimization-1/) and it has Maths. Is the reading more about getting intuition or about understanding the maths?

You can also try to ask any questions that you may have here. For example, questions of the form “on this line, what does this equation or symbol mean” are totally fine. Feel free to tag me in such questions.

Definitely more about getting intuition! Also, don’t let trying to understand all the details bog you down, because the course returns to concepts several times, with progressively more detail as time goes on.
