I just want to say thanks to Jeremy, Rachael and Sylvain. The courses are amazing. The approach you took with the first 4 lessons and then shifting gears in the second 4 is spot on. The fastai library is accessible and fun. I’ve worn so many hats in my career since 1997, but your MOOC has me inspired and excited liking nothing else since I first started with HTML/JS long ago.
Currently at work I’m paired with someone to take their GIS neural network to the cloud for training and predictions and this is helping me understand more of the network itself vs. being an ops/backend guy.
As soon as I finish part 2 I’m diving into Kaggle.
