I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask about this…I couldn’t find a random channel. Anyway, if this isn’t appropriate for this forum, just let me know and I’ll delete the post.
I decided to start blogging thanks to Jeremy’s fast template. I may need some help to get my blog working, and I may (try to!!) add some customizations, such as a RSS feed. Ideally, I’d like to get this all sorted before the next iteration of the MOOC, so that I can easily blog about fastai while I follow the course.
If I get stuck, would it be ok to ask for help here? I’d rather not open issues in the fast_template repository, because at least initially I would mostly ask for information, rather than creating actual bug reports or feature requests/PR.
Also, I’ve seen this project which seems very much related, and this thread
about said project. @hamelsmu , given that I’m a total beginner at blogging, but I plan to include some Jupyter Notebooks in my blog posts once the MOOC starts, would you suggest I use fast_template or fastpages? If I start with fast_template , I don’t know how complex it would be to move my posts to the other template, if at some point I need to.
Hi @AndreaPi I would suggest fastpages for Jupyter notebooks. However we won’t be finished writing the instructions etc for another week. You could use fast_template in the meantime by using instructions on the fastai blog post https://www.fast.ai/2020/01/20/nb2md/
We are hoping to create something that is completely automated for you with regards to Jupyter
@jeremy perhaps it makes sense to have a separate topic about fastpages/fast_template to have a clear place to collect questions?
