First_training taking much longer to run than expected

Hi there!,

I’ve just started the course, I’ve imported the first notebook 01_intro.ipynb into Kaggle (free version). My issue is that the first example model first_training for recognising cats or dogs is taking a lot longer than expected to run (> 20 minutes).

The description says it should take a few minutes for downloading the dataset and fine-tuning.

What am I doing wrong?

Any help would be much appreciated.

I just figured it out for myself, I was not using an accelerator → for anyone in the future who is having the same issue, make sure to select a GPU accelerator from the three dots on the right.
