Deep learning slides

Hi everyone!

Last week I put together a presentation about deep learning (the slides) inspired by the MOOC for my former research team. The goal of this presentation was to give them an idea of what deep learning is about and what kind of things people do with it. It’s extremely basic and does not go into details.

I think that they are a good basis for this kind of general presentation so feel free to modify and use them. They are written in LaTeX which is (I think) the most common language used by researcher to write scientific content so feel free to pick anything you like in the source code. Looking back at the slides, I also noticed that there is very few sentences in the presentation as I tend to speak a lot with figures on the screen. If you prefer more written explanations, modify the sources to add them.

PS: The image used for the neural style example is a picture of me, you should probably swap it with a funny picture of you as it tends to make people laugh ^^.

Nice. I really like the visualization of the VGG network as stacked layers. And the “random image” from the internet is great. I really like the results of the application of your style to van Gough.
