I just had a chat with one who did hackathon in the previous class couple of months ago . They said that they came up with an idea and shared it with TAs who act as mentors. Then, TAs gave them feedback on the feasibility and complexity of that idea and whether that idea is a good one for hackathon.
So, that’s just a FYI that we might be able to consult with TAs beforehand.
