I’ve been taking the traditional approach to learning about machine learning – taking Andrew Ng’s Coursera Machine Learning course, Imperial College’s The Mathematics of Machine Learning series of courses and grappling with a book Numerical Linear Algebra. I’m really excited by the progress I have made in this course already. Although I am getting distracted by fixing some of the code and then disappearing down rabbit holes as I also discover new ways of programming Python.
