I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Brisbane, Australia. My research areas are Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Mining. My current research focuses on how to train deep neural network models with a small dataset, utilise transfer learning to address overfitting problem, improving active learning technique for highly imbalanced data distribution, learning personalised ontology to interpret discovered knowledge in text, reducing uncertainty in relevance features, and applying AI and big data in marketing recommendation.
