ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'bcolz'

I am getting ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'bcolz' when I want to run the textbook in lesson 1 containing from fastai.imports import *. I already tried everything in here “Error: No module named ‘bcolz’.” but bcolz is already installed, but it didn’t work for me.

Hi, I am trying to run the lesson notebook but when I execute the import I get an error “No module names ‘bcolz’” which is already installed in my system! Error in notebook! [03 AM] Checking installation of Bcolz [54 AM] Need help to solve the issue.

Trying to run fastai library under virtualenv, hit bcolz error

I tried running fastai under python3 + virtualenv (as opposed to Anaconda), however I ran into errors trying to import bcolz. I documented the error on the bcolz repo: But I’m wondering if anyone here knows of a workaround? Or should I just use Anaconda?
