Seems to be just 2 days since released.
- Yet only Python 2.7 support.
- Depends on MXNet.
- Attracts by export feature and possibly larger optimization for iOS devices.
Apple introduced Core ML with iOS 11, which makes it really easy to add a trained machine learning model to your apps to make predictions. However, you still need to train the model, which is the difficult part.
With this tool, Apple makes it easier for people who are not ML experts to train their own models, specifically to fine-tune existing architectures on their own data. This will help more people add machine learning to their apps, which is exactly the point of Core ML.
