Setting Up Linux On Windows

Hello guys, I am looking to shift to Linux way of doing things but I have Windows 11. Most of the YouTube videos demonstrated that we do the following:

  1. Install Virtual Box
  2. Setup Ubuntu in/through it
I wanted to know if this is this the right way or is there a better professional way to shift to Linux considering that we have Windows.

You should investigate Windows Subsystem for Linux or WSL. Many good tuts on YT about it.

If you are doing this for fastai or deep learning related work, then as @mike.moloch Setting Up Linux On Windows - #2 by mike.moloch mentioned, WSL will be the best option as it is the best VM option to use CUDA if you have an NVIDIA GPU.
