When running:
from fastai2.text.all import *
dls = TextDataLoaders.from_folder(untar_data(URLs.IMDB), valid='test')
learn = text_classifier_learner(dls, AWD_LSTM, drop_mult=0.5, metrics=accuracy)
learn.fine_tune(4, 1e-2)
I get:
RuntimeError: cuDNN error: CUDNN_STATUS_EXECUTION_FAILED
Enyone else experiencing this as well?

Good Evening - has anyone found a solution to this? I had the same issue Intro (01_intro.ipynb) problem - RuntimeError: cuDNN error: CUDNN_STATUS_EXECUTION_FAILED
Update: I may have found a solution, but I’m not sure if it’s the “right” way to do it.

I ran into what appeared to be the same problem. I’m trying to run everything on my laptop, so it is not unlikely that I have something misconfigured. Nevertheless, restarting the kernel and running a second time worked without any errors.

I have the same problem running the same lines of code from the fastbook lesson 1 in the example about sentiment analysis. I am running the code in Google Colab. At the beginning of my notebook I update the fastai library to avoid some issues with the version imported by default in Colab with
!pip install fastai --upgrade
