Is there a thread anywhere about organizing study groups for v4 of the class? I’m in the NYC area and would love to meet up with other learners (either joining an existing group or helping to organize, if others would be interested). Anyone else?

Awesome! Are there particular days/times that are better for you all? Wednesday evening would be my preference but I’m pretty flexible overall.

Just wanted to point out on this thread since it was mentioning meetings at first that fastai does not endorse any physical meeting for study groups right now with the pandemic, only virtual only study groups.
Also interested in this study group, however, we should do a virtual one on Zoom or other online platforms.

Also interested! What are study groups usually used for?
Normally for going over the material, talking about stuff that was confusing, discussing projects/ideas, getting other people’s perspectives etc. Right now it looks like the best time based on the doodle would be Monday night, but I’m not sure we have a critical mass. Thoughts?
Update: it looks Monday 8-10pm will be the best time! Let’s plan on having our first meeting a week from tomorrow (so Mar 30) and we’ll discuss the first two weeks.
