I’d like to move my ML learning from my desktop to a laptop. I’m looking at an HP Z-Book with a NVIDIA Quadro P2000 GPU. Has anyone had any experience with the performance of this GPU? I’m not looking for stellar performance. Just something acceptable when I’m mobile.
Curious to know what your experience was. This model laptop is available for me through my employer. I’m thinking the 4GB is going to be a real limiter for ‘production use’. For learning, it’s probably fine. The batch size will be limited compared to what is available through cloud services since 16GB is typical for those offerings.
