Is there any advantage in using fully connected layers for classification ? Or will FCN be as good/better ? and we also get segmentation for free

ELU’s advantage is not just that it’s smooth but that it goes a little below zero. The paper on it mentions how that prevents activations from going to 0 and that allows for more a complex representation.
