Another way is to define an alternative keyboard layout for example Greek and switch between your native and the Greek keyboards and results into a click of the mouse on your menu bar (Mac, Linux). This I have set up on my local machine not sure how effective it would be remotely as I don’t generally interact with the cloud.

For example on Ubuntu 18.04

  • in your set up add an input source to the Language and Region tab
  • I used Greek(extended)
  • Change from default to Greek on top menu bar and back again
  • Thats It
