How do you dual boot Ubuntu and Windows 10 on two separate SSD?

I have a PC with 2 SSD, Windows 10 was installed in 1 SSD, I want to install Ubuntu on another SSD but have no idea about how it works. I see some articles said that I need to unplug the hard drive with Windows, install Ubuntu on another hard drive and then plug the windows drive again in order to avoid grub installed on Windows? I am totally lost, can anyone give me some instructions?

Thanks

I have this exact same setup. I installed Windows on one first, then Ubuntu on the other. No need to unplug the windows hard drive. You can follow the standard ubuntu install instructions from their official website. You’ll need to setup a bootable USB drive and boot up with that through your BIOS on startup IIRC.
