Getting disk full write error on ec2 instance

I was trying to download this dataset on my ec2 instance. But i got an error saying write error (disk full?). How to remove this error

well, your disk is full.

Either

  • remove some data etc. on your disk, OR
  • stop the machine and start a new one with a bigger disk
