I am working in the field of nuclear medicine and was hoping Deep Learning could solve a problem we are facing. We model scintillator crystals that are coupled to an array of detectors. The amount of photons detected is based on the geometry of the crystal. Is it possible for Deep learning to generate crystal models that give better accuracy? Any specification on the Deep learning model which can achieve this is appreciated.
