When running the Planet Classification Notebook on AWS I get a “KernelRestart” every time. I searched around and while there have been some reports of this issue, I could not find an actual (official?) solution to this problem. I tried all the suggestions given on previous threads and still nothing.
I am running the Planet Notebook from the latest Fastai version on an AWS environment build with the Deep Learning AMI, using both p2.xlarge and p2.16xlarge.
Note that I also had the exact same issue when running one of the first lessons (the Pet Classification).
Is there an official fix for this? Otherwise I am unable to run any Fastai Notebook on AWS. I would appreciate any guidance on this issue. Thank you!
