Hi @shgidi,
I also have a personal project too for audio video translation (too heavy to start on now I think) but we could discuss later … More details here on my github : https://github.com/Kjeanclaude/Verbos
For your idea, I have already read several papers about clustering in videos.

I am in the GMT+0 timezone and I would be glad to discuss and work with you.
Please join the spreadsheet above (This one), and add your input, with the agreement of Jeremy she should be on the same team.

Hi @Kjeanclaude, sound really interesting, will be glad to work and discuss!

I’ve added myself to the spreadsheet earlier today.

could you please share some of the papers about clustering in videos/images? I haven’t found anything useful yet…

Hi @shgidi,
Here are some papers about clustering in videos/images (most of those I read are from arXiv):
I add some in relation with what we have already learned in this course (style transfer), but applied to videos.

1- Object Detection in Videos with Tubelet Proposal Networks
https://arxiv.org/abs/1702.06355

2- CSVideoNet: A Recurrent Convolutional Neural Network for Compressive Sensing Video Reconstruction
https://arxiv.org/abs/1612.05203

3- EgoReID: Cross-view Self-Identification and Human Re-identification in Egocentric and Surveillance Videos
https://arxiv.org/abs/1612.08153

4- Person Re-Identification by Unsupervised Video Matching
https://arxiv.org/abs/1611.08512

4- Generating Videos with Scene Dynamics
https://arxiv.org/abs/1609.02612

5- Artistic style transfer for videos
https://arxiv.org/abs/1604.08610

6- Complex Event Recognition from Images with Few Training Examples
https://arxiv.org/abs/1701.04769

7- Deep Learning Features at Scale for Visual Place Recognition
https://arxiv.org/abs/1701.05105

For those you find interesting I think we could have advice from professor Jeremy and plan something soon.

Waiting for your feedback please.

I missed the 2nd part of the last session. I thought, we can watch the recoreded live streams directly after the class. When I open the link, I don’t see any recoreded videos. Any ideas?

The lnks are here Lesson 9 wiki

I wanted to check if international fellows are able to see and hear the youtube livestream right now? Please reply here.

@rachel you might want to send a e-mail to the international folks to ensure that they know about the daylight savings time change. There was one person on the youtube chat mentioning about this.

Can you guys see/hear class ok?

International fellows, are you able to hear alright?

i hear nothing at all. Dead silent for me

No sound.

Jeremy just went and talked into the microphone again

Still nothing.

couldn’t hear it
