AVA Video Dataset from Google

This is more for advanced Ai / ML engineers:

Google Research has just released the AVA dataset that contains 192 videos split into 154 training and 38 test videos. Working with the dataset means you need to write an URL manager that takes the video identifier from the CSV file and generates the correct youtube URL before you can proceed. The annotations label the actions in the scene so classifying and predicting actions is one challenge. The classifier could be fun to extend towards soccer analytics to predict goal probability from live broadcasting.:slight_smile:

Have fun

Thank you for the clarification @jeremy;
I moved the post to #applications where it belongs.

Many thanks. I worry that having very advanced topics in the introductory course forums can be a little intimidating!

I do think this is a fascinating dataset. Will be interested to hear what people do with it…
