The french daily Le Monde just published a story on the app AVA, launched by an engineer who is not deaf but his two parents and his sister are.
They said, and other deaf persons, that the hardest challenge was to be with a group of non-deaf people and unable to follow the conversation, thus his project.
It’s in French but there might be an app somewhere that can translate it, I heard.
